Granite coating is a Teflon coating enriched with granite grit to give it greater hardness. It is harder than Teflon, but at the same time retains the advantages of Teflon: it does not burn, it distributes heat well. It combines the advantages of cast iron and Teflon cookware. It has all the advantages of Teflon, but is more resistant to damage, surpassing even ceramic coatings in this.
Granite coating makes the cookware extremely resistant to any scratches and durable. This type of pots and pans also allows you to fry with a minimum of fat, as the cookware heats up similar to a stone and gives off heat over its entire surface.
