Granite coating is a Teflon coating enriched with granite fines, which makes it harder. It is harder than Teflon, but at the same time retains its advantages: it does not burn, distributes heat well. It combines the advantages of both cast iron and Teflon cookware. It has all the advantages of Teflon but is more resistant to damage, even surpassing ceramic coatings.
The granite coating makes the cookware extremely scratch-resistant and durable. This type of pots and pans also allows you to fry with a minimum of fat, because the cookware heats up similar to a stone and gives off heat with its entire surface.
