Description

Cordierite pizza baking stone with a diameter of 33 centimetres, complete with stand.

With this pizza stone, you can prepare a delicious homemade speciality native to Italy. The pizza bakes perfectly on this stone. It shortens the baking time and has a significant impact on the taste of the baked dough.

The stone is made of cordierite - a material characterised by excellent heat conduction and high resistance to temperature changes. Using this stone, the pizza bakes evenly and the dough is pleasant and crispy. With this method of baking, the pizza becomes similar to one baked in a professional pizza oven.

The cordierite stone is made of a mineral called cordierite, which is particularly resistant to temperature changes. This stone distributes heat perfectly and is resistant to thermal shocks, which translates into safety when baking pizzas. The properties of cordierite make this stone a good choice for those looking for an effective and reliable baking tool. It is also suitable for preparing restaurant-quality cookies, bread or buns.

Used properly it will last a long time and is sure to please all those who use it.

The set includes a baking stone and a chrome wire stand.

Not dishwasher safe.

Diameter: 33cm

Instructions for using the pizza stone:

1. Before using the pizza stone for the first time, wash it thoroughly with warm water. Dry it completely with a clean towel. Preheat the oven to the desired temperature for approximately 30 minutes before using the pizza stone.

2. When using the pizza stone, place the pizza stone directly on the oven grid, making sure it is in the centre of the oven to ensure even heat distribution. Once the oven and pizza stone have reached the desired temperature, carefully slide the pizza onto the stone using a pizza spatula or flat baking sheet.
Bake the pizza for the recommended time, rotating it halfway through the baking time to ensure even cooking. Watch the pizza to avoid burning, overbaking.

Cleaning and storage:

1. after use, wait for the pizza stone to cool completely before removing from the oven. Wipe the stone clean with a damp cloth or paper towel, removing any food residue. Do not use detergents or abrasive cleaners as these can damage the surface of the stone. Store the pizza stone in a dry, well-ventilated place to prevent moisture build-up, which can lead to cracking.

2 Avoid exposing the pizza stone to direct water flow or immersing it in water, as this can cause it to crack. Temperature differences can cause the surface to crack. Do not use sharp or abrasive tools on the pizza stone as these can scratch or damage its surface.
